ABOUT NICOLE

Nicole Beckett is a Creative Director, Wardrobe Stylist, Costume Designer and author based in Hollywood California.   After 20 years in entertainment and fashion industry, she has found her sweet spot as a Commercial Wardrobe Stylist who keeps fashion, film, and reality television creation at the forefront of her resume.  

For the last decade, Nicole has costumed and styled top Hollywood talent including Jack Black, Ben Stiller , Andy Dick, Michael Clark Duncan, Vivica Fox, Loretta Devine, James Vander Beek, Michael Hitchcock, Hulk Hogan, Billy Dee Williams, Robin Givens, Monica Calhoun, Fyvush Finkel, Stanley Kamel, Irwin Keyes, Armin Shimerman, Elliot Gould, Natasha Lyonne, Ed McMann, Richard Roundtree, Leon, Lisa Rinna, Sofia Vergara, Paul Rodriguez, Diane Carroll, Esai Morales, Oscar de la Hoya.


Her designs have been associated with Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Osborne and Ashlee Simpson and have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Twist, J-14, Budget Living, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Daily News, TeenPeople.com, MTV.

From high fashion shoots to comedy spoofs, Nicole has an uncanny ability to translate a director’s vision into reality through the language of costuming and design.

She has become very successful in the commercial arena, giving much credit to earning her Bachelors in Advertising from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

By combining her styling skills with her signature zany costume design, she has designed hundreds of costumes ranging from Mexican Wrestlers to gigantic lotto ball costumes. Her favorite commercials include: Costume Design for Oscar Meyer, Honda, Verizon, McDonalds, Lowes, Orbitz Travel, Purina, Heineken, Honda, Comcast, LG, Nintendo Wii, Mexican Lotto, Kentucky Lotto, Compass Bank, Top Flight Golf, S Factor, Telemundo, PG&E, and CBS Sports.

Nicole has costumed a variety of projects for film and TV, including the four-season digital series Diary of a Single Mom with Director Robert Townsend.  She is also the Costume Designer for Director/Actor Andy Dick’s feature film Danny Roane: First Time Director aired on Comedy Central and  Dick’s football comedy Division III.

Nicole has been in the Costume Designers Guild since 2006.
